1.ย  ย ย The Austrian library known as The Admontย – The Admont Library, the oldest and largest of all the seven cloister libraries in Europe, is tucked away in the Austrian Alps. It is a masterwork in the baroque style, made of white and gold, and is kept in Vienna’s Theatermuseum. The central hall’s enormous fresco shows the actions of learning and teaching.ย 

2.    Royal Portuguese Reading Room, Rio de Janeiro โ€“ This Brazilian building, located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, is thought to have been inspired by the National Library of Paris. When you enter the library, a striking spiral staircase with patterned tiles in white and blue welcomes you. It is often referred to as Rio’s Salon of Prestigious Knowledge due to the abundance of books that line its walls, some of which are in the works’ original Portuguese translation. 

3.    Stuttgart Municipal Library, Germany – This wavy library in Stuttgart resembles a set from a science fiction film. The entire ground level is arranged in a circle, with a covered patio at its center and the majestic facade of the building and a lovely garden area on either side. Every book in this collection has been grouped by category and color. 

4.    Trinity College Library, Dublin – The Trinity College Library is one of the first libraries in all of Europe and is situated in Dublin. The Book of Kells, a 9th-century gospel text noted for its complex Celtic Artwork, is another item it is well known for possessing. The opulent Long Room is a sight to behold and has appeared in a number of films, including Harry Potter.

 6.    Biblioteca Joanina, Coimbra University, Portugal – This is the oldest and most renowned library in Portugal. It was built in a lavish Baroque style in the 18th century. 7.    The Weston Library, United Kingdom โ€“ The Weston Library is a component of the Bodleian Library in Oxford and features a regal and striking Renaissance faรงade. The enormous octagonal room is located within and features a lavish bookcase, a bust wall of renowned people, and an artistic ceiling. 

8.    Bratislava City Library, Slovakia – For its distinctive design, this lovely and contemporary library recently took home the highest honor at the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture. The historic center of Slovakia’s capital is home to the glass, wood, and concrete library. 

9.    El Ateneo, Argentina’s Buenos Aires – This is a former theatre that has been converted into a library, not a traditional library. After admiring the splendour of the original theater’s construction, which included a stage, balcony, and rows of comfortable seats, visitors can explore the countless books that are waiting to be discovered. 

10.  The Bishan Public Library in Singapore, the first of its sort in the country, is a cutting-edge library. In addition to being packed with books, it features numerous works of art and sculptures, video walls, multi-touch interactive digital tables, and a gaming area. The pleasant ambiance is finished with plush couches and chairs that line the walls.
